The new millennium that has just begun sees the Rex series completely renovated to maintain its leading position in the orchard specialty tractor sector.

The new Rex tractors have been largely redesigned to offer a basic transmission combined with a variety of transaxle, front and rear axle solutions and different wheelbase and track dimensions. The series comes in two models designed for specific applications:

• F model: (narrow orchard) ideal for work in small-sized narrow orchards

• GT model: (large orchard) for use in standard orchards and in open field.

The new Perkins 1100 series 3- and 4-cylinder engines compliant with “Euro 2” / “USA TIER 2” standards provide high fuel efficiency, low noise and reduced emissions. The new five-speed transmission is available in two versions: mechanical (Speed Five) and hydraulic (Power Five) with De-clutch Control and Power Shuttle.

The hydraulic system features three auxiliary valves as standard for maximum versatility and a hydraulic PTO designed to enhance the implement performance. The front axle provides a wide steering angle for improved tractor maneuverability and is equipped with integral braking system for optimum braking performance.

The tractor excellent performance and functionality are enhanced by the comfort of the “Total View” cab featuring all-glass side doors hinged onto the rear post for all-round visibility.

The air-conditioning installed on the cab roof, the new digital instrument panel and the intuitive controls arranged in ergonomic position maximize the driving comfort.

In line with the Landini family style, the hood features round headlights and rear tilting providing easy access to the engine for routine service.
